Observed Collections

When an observed urine collection is required by DOT regulation, court order, or employer policy, I conduct the procedure in strict accordance with all applicable federal guidelines and with full respect for the donor's dignity throughout the process. 

Observed collections are only performed when they are legally or programmatically mandated — such as in return-to-duty or follow-up testing situations — and are always carried out by a trained, same-gender collector as required by regulation. I understand that this type of collection can feel uncomfortable, and I am committed to handling every observed collection as professionally and respectfully as possible while maintaining full regulatory compliance.
